I had always believed,
That dreams are like sandcastles.
Both of these, very short lived.
I’ve feared this, always,
That gigantic waves of reality,
Will shove my dreams away
Until I saw a kid, lovely and agile
Was so happy building his sandcastle,
Not fearing that it is so fragile.
That’s when I learnt that,
The way of life actually,
Is not to be attached.
It is indeed,
To learn to be detached.
gotta leave behind my vanity,
And just cherish every moment.
Because, I guess doing so,
Is what we call sanity.
You’ve maturity beyond your age, dear. I loved the revelation of wisdom in this piece. Stay blessed… ❤
